Howdy.

This was supposed to be posted a week after the last post.

But once again, I was just too busy.

However, we did have time for fireworks.

That was fun.

I recorded that with one of the VHS cameras.

Why?

BECAUSE I COULD.

What else happened?

OH!

There was also a storm that dropped some hail.

That was cool.

Other than that, it’s just been the same as usual.

Work, sleep, work, sleep.

Life goes on.

ON TO THE PHOTO!

This is the conclusion of the feedback loop series.

It’s interesting that out of the fifty photos I shot, only two were “decent”.

Usually, there’s a lot more than that.

Am I not as good as or used to be?

Or do I just have high standards now?

Probably the latter.

I’m more critical now.

Back in the day, I’d just shoot whatever and say, “good enough”.

Can’t do that anymore.

If I don’t feel something when looking at the photo, it’s not good enough.

Out of all the photos I shot for this series, this one intrigued me the most.

There’s just something about it.

Of course, I asked THE AUNT about how she felt about the photos.

All she said was “it’s reflective”.

That is true.

It’s contemplative.

I don’t pose for the photos.

I just hit the timer on the camera and go with what I feel.

Clearly, I was feeling something.

Lost in thought?

What am I thinking about?

Something seems to be on my mind.

Like I said, the photo has to make me feel something.

This one achieves that.

For the editing, I didn’t do anything extreme.

The photo was a bit dark, so I brightened it up.

That’s it.

It didn’t need anything else.

I haven’t thought of a new series.

So, I’m probably going to vanish for a while again.

My birthday is less than a month away.

I’ll probably be back for that.

I said that last year and proceeded to not do anything for my birthday.

So, no guarantees.

This post seemed a little short.

There just wasn’t much to talk about.
