As 2019 draws to an end, we got some good final storms and then it snowed. I got buried. Trapped forever. I'm still there, digging my way out. https://www.jaredpphotography.com/

2019 was a crazy year for tornado warnings. We went two years with nothing and suddenly we were having them all the time. This time, we hopped in my car to see if we could see anything. https://www.jaredpphotography.com/

This was weird. For the first time in two years, we had a tornado warning. And it wasn't just a random one like in 2017, link to the video below. There were legit supercell storms rolling through but nothing ever happened. THEN THE NEXT DAY, a random rain blob that wasn't even tornadic decided to poop up a tornado with no warning. Just BAM! There it is. This was the weirdest event that we've seen in a while and people are still confused by it. As 2019 continues, we get into Spring and that's when the pop-up storms start as the air shifts from being cold to warm. https://www.jaredpphotography.com/

2019 started off with the coldest polar vortex we've ever seen. It got down to -45 degrees. Of course, I stood outside to see if I freeze. The last extreme cold we had was in 2014 and that was -40. The storm season of 2018 is already done. We get some nice lines of storms at the end and then it started to snow. Normally I show the snowstorms as well, but I just didn't care. It's snow. Google it. https://www.jaredpphotography.com/

This took longer than expected. There have been some changes happening recently that I can't wait to share! Anyways, this is a long and random video of me trying to get a project done. I didn't know what to do at first, but eventually it hit me.... TIME TRAVEL. To celebrate 13 years of starting these photos, I went back in time and re-did a project I've done before. As we get later into the year, we started to get more lines of storms instead of little pop-ups. I was at my Aunts for one of them. I like watching them at her house. She lives in the middle of nowhere surrounded by fields. IT’S PERFECT. https://www.jaredpphotography.com/

The hot summer air kept causing little pop-up storms to fire up all over the place. These usually bring a sudden downpour of rain a lot of lighting. https://www.jaredpphotography.com/

As we get into the summertime, we kept getting hit by storm after storm. So were little pops up and others we massive lines. I even got to see a rainbow. https://www.jaredpphotography.com/

After a good start to the season. Things calm down and we hit a slow period of simple little storms. https://www.jaredpphotography.com/

This storm season was slow at first. Little storms here and there. But soon enough, the first big storm came through. We also had our first tornado in quite some time warning that was in the city where we were. https://www.jaredpphotography.com/

As the storm season draws to a close, we had some good final storms. One had the most rain we’ve ever seen. It flooded the garage. https://www.jaredpphotography.com/

As we get into the hot and humid summer, we got a few good storms with some turbulent air and a lot of lightning. https://www.jaredpphotography.com/

This is my favorite storm that we’ve had in recent memory. We knew it was coming and I was prepared. Had all my cameras, batteries charged, all ready to go. I went to my brother place who had a nice clear view looking north where the storm was. We watched it all go down as a family. It was the best. The 2015 season ends with the last snowstorm that we had that year. Loads of snow... everywhere. It's time to get back to uploading my storm videos. I love storms! I document every storm that comes through town and back in the day, I would upload them. But then my channel shifted in its content and I stopped doing that. I still recorded the storms though. Now they are sitting on my hard drive, wasting space. It's time to get them out into the world. These videos were filmed back in 2015. I still have the original files for these videos, so I organized them and right away deleted all the videos that weren't about the storms. This allowed me to compress multiple storms into one video. The time frame in each episode will span several weeks and include different storms at different times. https://www.jaredpphotography.com/
