HOWDY THERE!
I almost didn’t have time to do this post again!
It’s last week all over again.
But I’m here now!
So, there’s not really much to talk about this week.
It’s been a standard week.
I have recently acquired some new clothing.
I’ll show them off next week.
There are still a few items that haven’t arrived yet.
Let’s just say I have more…. Colorful choices of clothes.
And I’m not talking about me 42 stripped shirts.
YOU WILL SEE!
ANYWAYS!
Speaking of color, YELLOW!

The series continues.
We started with a simple close up, then we pan out to reveal where I am.
Now I’m on the move to somewhere new.
WHERE COULD I BE GOING!??!?
ONLY TIME WILL TELL!
Last week, I mentioned the location I was at.
I said I found a nice, secluded dirt road and a field of corn.
Well, THIS IS THAT ROAD.
This was the first photo I shot went I got out there.
I saw that road and I was like “I MUST WALK DOWN IT!”
So I did.
Nothing too fancy about it.
I liked it.
It was just what I wanted!
The road shows that I’m traveling and the corn teases what’s coming next.
For the edited, it was a bit tricky.
STORYTIME.
You’ll see this in the video and it’s my favorite part.
I had the camera recording the whole time and capture this gorgeous moment.
I spent the day before getting ready.
Making sure everything was good to go.
I got all my yellow shirts and piled them up.
Ready to take with me.
Before I left the next day, I changed into one of the yellow shirts.
It was one that I wasn’t sure about using because the yellow was a bit faded.
I at least wore it so that I would have some yellow for the BTS video of me getting out to that field.
So I ventured out.
I got to the spot.
I set up the camera and got the shot ready.
I say in the video that “I don’t want to wear this shirt” because it wasn’t yellow enough.
I go to the car to get a better one and……………………
…………………………………
………………………
……………
………
…..
…
.
There are no shirts.
I wasn’t happy.
AND I GOT IT ALL ON VIDEO!
It was wonderful.
So I made do with what I had.
I decided to just shoot the photo as is and boost the faded yellow in Photoshop.
I edited everything like normal.
I didn’t go too extreme with the contrast like in the last two photos.
Things are calming down and we are transitioning from the storm.
The last step was too simple.
I created a photoshop layer of just my shirt and cranked up the yellows and saturation.
And it worked!
The stripes pop out now!
They look great.
COMPARE!
Hover your mouse (the computer one) over the original picture to see the after editing one.
If you're on a touchscreen device, just tap on the picture. You may have to tap more than once.
We’ll keep things simple with that one.
It compared the original with all the lighting adjustments and making it yellow.
I realized that I didn’t do much with the lighting.
I mostly just tented it all yellow.
This next comparison is me boosting the shirt.
NOW COMPARE IT ALL!
DOESN’T THAT LOOK GREAT!
I think it turned out lovely.
ONTO THE VIDEO!
Part one was mostly the setup.
The idea, the lockdown, all that.
Now it’s time for the project.
I just realized that the videos are playing out chronological and I’m not uploading the photos that way.
You’ll see me in the video shoot a photo that doesn’t show up until the end.
SPOILERS!
I said I was on the move somewhere and that place is in the last photo.
And that last photo is actually the first photo I shot!
Weird!
If you don’t want to get spoiled about what’s ahead in the series, you can skip the video.
At the very end of this project, I’ll upload the final video part.
However, at the same time, I’m also going to upload the full version of the video.
The whole hour and a half in full.
So you can wait until the last photo and then watch the whole project in video form.
It’s up to you!
The video also goes over the new plan for the project.
I started it so long ago.
The first part was in March and covered all that stuff.
In the middle of this part, we just to SEPTEMBER.
That is when I get the idea to hold off on the project a little bit more.
We were getting into Fall and then I’d have the yellow colors I needed.
WATCH THE VIDEO!
That’s all I got for now.
This post wasn’t much.
There’s not really a lot to talk about right now.
Come back next week for the next installment!
